| Stello HP100 Preamplifier/Headphone Amplifier |
The Stello HP100 is a pure 2-input preamplifier along with a quality headphone amplifier in one chassis. Equipped with quality components and state-of-the-art circuit design, it has been designed to compete with dedicated headphone amplifiers that are two or even three times its price.
With its two analogue inputs, the HP100 can function as either a dedicated headphone amplifier or as a preamplifier when connected with any power amp of choice. Featuring a fully discrete Class A Push-Pull analogue stage and two stage voltage regulator all controlled via a specially designed toroidal transformer, the HP100 uses components carefully chosen over hours of listening tests. This has lead to the inclusion of WIMA polypropylene capacitors, an Alps ‘Blue Velvet’ volume control and Neutrik XLR headphone jack socket.
The combination of attention to detail, quality components and hours of listening tests have made the HP100 a very worthy member of the Stello 100 Series.
