This new, state-of-the-art, phonostage brings a whole new perspective to your vinyl collection. Rediscover your old, loved, favorites that you thought you knew so well. Your listening experience will be as if a veil was removed between you and the performers. Heimdal is equipped with a balanced input for the phono cartridge, as almost every cartridge is per definition a balanced design with the tone arm as ground level. Using the balanced input option will further minimize interference from surrounding electrical components and noise. For universal compatibility the phono stage is also equipped with unbalanced inputs. The inputs are fully adjustable to match any cartridge type . Both the input and output has, of course both balanced and unbalanced connections.
